"As an amateur sports club fundraising is key to maintaining team unity and spirit. Our rugby club has annual fees and dues to pay to the Bahamas Rugby Union, that go towards upkeep of the playing fields and facilities at the rugby pitch. There are also travel expenses and tours that require club subsidies so as to allow us to travel with our most competitive side. Not to mention new uniforms every year. Over the years we have used many methods of fund raising, success has been variable. So this year when we approached local business with the idea of advertising on the teams' new uniforms, the idea was received enthusiastically.
